Battle of the Books

Support Rock Paper Scissors as we host a table at the 2019 Battle of the Books in which middle school aged student teams from various school in Tacoma Public Schools battle it out through reading. RPS will be bringing awareness surrounding abuse and human trafficking to those in attendance.

Seeds of Peace 2019 Youth Summit is a special event for the youth of Tacoma Public Schools. Students will have access to community leaders and partner organizations to empower them to reach high focusing on Action, Awareness, and Prevention. Rock Paper Scissors Foundation founder, Kristal Clark will join an amazing panel of women to empower the young girls, while our L.I.L.Y Program lead will host a workshop to discuss Human Sex Trafficking.

How To Break The Silence

Join Rock Paper Scissors Foundation in partnership with the City of Tacoma, to bring Awareness and provide prevention tips on Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Carolyn M. West, is an award-winning author and Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington. A gifted public speaker, she writes, trains, consults, and lectures internationally on intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Dr. West is devoted to creating inspirational material to empower domestic violence/sexual assault survivors during their healing journey, delivering keynote addresses, conducting workshops, and customizing innovative training material to educate and equip professionals with the skills to provide culturally sensitive services.

Phil Martin, Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate.

Sarah Stanton, Mental Health Counselor and Celebrate Recovery lead.
